PRE-SHIPMENT INSPECTION (PSI)

A Pre-shipment Inspection is the inspection performed when goods are 100% completed, packed and ready for shipment. Our inspectors select random samples from finished goods according to the international statistical standard known as MIL-STD-105E (ISO2859-1). The PSI confirms that finished products are in full compliance with your specifications.

THE PSI INCLUDES:

■ Quantity verification
■ Style and color
■ Functions and safety
■ Workmanship (general appearance)
■ Size specification, if required

What are the Benefits of Final Random Inspection?

With your suppliers an ocean away, how can you ensure that the goods you receive meet your expectations for quality?

The final random inspection is one of the most common third-party quality inspection services conducted by importers working with manufacturers to verify the quality of your products before they are shipped.

The benefits of final random inspection inspections include:

✔ Ensure that your order was filled successfully before its shipment

✔ Assured that the goods have met importers specifications

✔ Reduce in import risk and avoid the product recalls

✔ Protect the brand image and reputation

✔ Refuse defective shipment

✔ Avoid unexpected costs and delays or returns

✔ Save time and secure your business

✔ Facilitate rework easily at the manufacturing facility (if required)

This inspection should be carried out in general in the factory of seller, according to the standard ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008 AQL (Default Lever 2.)

At V-inspection, before performing each mission of PSI, the account manager will send one document called ‘job file’ for approval of the client. In the job file, all the details of inspection scope will be mentioned; the client can add or delete some points as per his/her requirement. Once this job number is approved, signed and sealed by the client, it becomes one inspection agreement, also serves as the checking list to guide the inspector during the mission.

The account manager of V-inspection will be available during all inspection process, for any question or requirement from the client. If any major defect or discrepancy is detected during inspection, the account manager has the responsibility to inform the client immediately if possible.

The inspection report will be sent to the client within 24 hours upon the completion of inspection. Also, the after-sales service will contact the client to collect the feedback soon.
